Bryce Harper is such a Powerful hitter. I miss him playing in the outfield, but his glove Is basically like you said "Standard". I love how he breaks in his glove, similar to how i do it. Im guessing he likes a stiffer glove because he is tightening his laces and getting a pro preferred. Hand sewn welting is one of my favorite things a glove could have.

Gloves are trash these days. I coach and see players blow through a glove in 2 seasons. I have a Rawlings HOTH 11.75 braided web that I used in college through 2006 I have taken great care of it and had it relaced once but it’s still in better condition than most of the HS players I coach todays.
