Yeah, seems there's always something new to discover if you experiment a bit.

I have problems trying to get the lab materials you show in this video. I like to know if there is an other way for u can get them. Thanks

If you own Bryce 7.1 then the materials are a free download. Often it is easy to miss this. However Horo provides a guide on his website. horo.ch/docs/mine/pdf/BryceContent_v4.pdf

For some reason I'm not getting the bit depth option when I export HDRI. I only get 24-bit HDRI. I don't know if it causes problems, but my starburst background doesn't look like the one David gets when I apply it. It's got the feint beams, but no white starburst from their center. As far as I could tell I didn't miss a step. Still, just finding out that you can create a starburst using mirror infinite planes was worth watching the tut. Thanks David. EDIT: I fiddled around with the Yaw/Pitch/Roll ball and found my starburst, but it's acting really wonky.

Not sure why you would get different export options. Check you are using the most up to date version of Bryce 7.1 kzbin.info/www/bejne/eITanKR8eL1jfMk As for the star burst, well there are a few variables to play with here, try scaling the mirror group or fiddling with the fog thickness. Wonkyness may be a mapping issue. Again, try experimenting with the mirror positions.

I fiddled around with the Yaw/Pitch/Roll ball and found my starburst "spot". It's acting really wonky, but at least it worked. and it was a matter of how the background was aligned. First I thought it was the bit-depth issue, but that seemed to make no difference in the end. Thanks Mr Brinnen.
