Agree on No 1 - for the rest we don´t have any same album in the Top 10 - not even in the honourable mentions! Funny to see how rust in Peace makes the most different tastes agree on what is really great - i mean really!!! My Top 10 of 1990: 1 - Megadeth - Rust in Peace (indeed the only Megadeth album, that really counts for me, but how it counts ... ohh ... my ... GOD !!!) 2 - Atheist - Piece of Time (Don´t forget this one, Birth of Tech Death - okay You could count Death as inventors - but Death was never "one of the Death Metal Bands" - They were always playing in their own league. Still SH is my least appreciated album by them so it doesn´t appear on this list) 3 - Psychotic Waltz - A social Grace (my alltime favourite Metal Band) 4 - Primus - Frizzle Fry (never cared for Purism!) 5 - Terminal Cheesecake - Angels in Pigtails (okay is this Metal? - well, it´s dark enough for 3 Metal Bands, so i count it. Fuck Purism!) 6 - Disharmonic Orchestra - Expositionsprophylaxe (Birth of Tech Grind - All Hail Psudoku Nowadays!) 7 - Naked City - Naked City (Did i already say fuck purism?) 8 - Anacrusis - Reason (another nearly forgotten Band - all their catalogue downloadable for free on their official Website nowadays) 9 - Sodom - Better off dead (One of the first Metal Records i bought back in the Days, when it was new) 10 - Suicidal Tendencies - Lights ... Been watching Bryce's videos for a while. Some things I've learned: 1. Megadeth is God 2. Loves Black Sabbath other than the Ozzy version 3. Loves Holy Moses 4. Loves Ted Nugent 5. Rates British Steel lower than almost any other person on earth (lol, all in good fun)

1990 is my favorite year too, it's ridiculously stacked. Lock Up The Wolves is Dio's most underrated album, never understood why. Cool to see Tyr (though I still prefer Eternal Idol and Headless Cross), the Tony Martin era is definitely overlooked. Personally I'd put Slaughter In The Vatican and Coma of Souls in but with that year there's simply too much to choose from. Good list!

I actually have to do a review of Rust In Piece for my first assignment in history of rock and roll and so far I haven't had a single flaw IMO. It's like the 90's version of Kill em all to me but different and unique in that like Kill em all I think it's Metallica's best album and no flaws in any of the songs in KeM. I'm only half way done the album tho but so far I've listened to Holy wars (since a year ago), Hangar 18, Tornado of Souls, Dawn patrol, Lucretia, Take no prisoners, and Poison was the cure. I wan't to take my time since I have to treat this as if the album just got released so I am starting to listen to shit from albums I like that I haven't listened to before.
