I'm thinking some loc tite too. The screws get kinda loose after awhile.

We do not advise this, in the event that the trans tunnel needs to be removed.

Did Toyota/ Subaru leave the are area you are covering open for cooling purposes?

Possibly? Hard to say why manufacturers do what they do some of the time. With the trans tunnel cover installed, we have not seen or heard from anyone with cooling issues.

Are spacers required for the stock exhaust?

No, spacers shouldn't be needed. If they are needed, it will be a small amount.

Does this cover also function as a skid plate or will contact with track tarmac rip it off?

It can be used as a skid plate in theory, but it is not designed for that reason. Being comprised of thin aluminum, it could possibly be ripped off if something catches the front edge of the cover.

So the factory exhaust doesn't need use spacers, or just the smallest spacers?

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm as we have only installed it here in-house with aftermarket exhaust systems. Our guess would be that it would take a small number of spacers if any at all.

Nope. Never had a single issue. There is still an opening on the backside of the Trans Tunnel Cover that allows for heat evacuation.

can u install this transmission tunnel cover over a CPM brace bar below the car?

I’m not sure. We have not had any customers let us know one way or the other.

Sorry to hear that. May I ask why you would want it to be thicker? This thickness provides plenty of rigidity and the thicker you make it, the more it will weigh.
