This approach to getting the most out of a crank is commendable. I found it exceedingly frustrating to have to proceed in such large jumps. The same applies with early C series Triumphs and A7/10. You have the services of an excellent engineer.

What about the Ford tractor small end bush? Were does that figure in A65 rebuilds.

Ah - they can only cover sizes down to around - 0.010" and I think we will probably need to go lower than the range they give, although we might just scrape it if we need to.

Gidday Paul - just wondering why we're seeing so may A65s now? Is it that they are becoming a bit more appreciated, so you're seeing recommissons of bikes that were off the road? cheers! Tim
