So a sub 11lb air rifle. Not selling it, was tempted to get this rifle. Having second thoughts now

My .22 BSA R10se super carbine loves AA field Diablo in 5.52 , 16 grain. Very accurate.

My R10se .177 runs at 11.5 lb/ft with JSB Heavies (10.34 grns) and is super accurate with them.

How about telling us the range that you are shooting at.

WOW a guy that did not tell me how to open the box and put the rifle together. Oh he is much younger than most of the guys doing reviews so there is no bullshite. Fantastic. No crap speeches just the rifle doing the talking.

Why do new airguns come set at 10.5 foot pounds it should be 11.5, your paying for a sub 12 not sub 11
@Beesa103 жыл бұрын
Manufacturers always err on the side of caution because different pellet weight and fit affects the muzzle energy. If they set your PCP at 11.5 ftlb using average weight pellets in the factory and then you started using much heavier pellets, chances are your airgun would be over the legal limit. They use heavy pellets like Bisley Magnum for factory testing their rifles. 10.5 ftlb is 7/8th of the maximum allowed with a 1/8th margin of safety to keep the owner out of legal bother. That's pretty reasonable if you ask me. The main thing is accuracy and good shot placement.

@@Beesa10 Beesa10 , your quite correct with that , but I think the R10 tested IS running a little low on power , id be looking at 11.2 for a pretty bog standard weight of 8.44grn .. allowing for an hike with heavier pellet .. even 10.9 would be acceptable .. but JUST over 10 ftlb .. no .. I dont think so .. that said , the R10 on test would still be perfect in an hunting scenario ..

@@markhomer5704 I know what you mean, ideally I'd want ~11ftlb with AA field pellets but tbh if the muzzle energy is somewhere between 10 and 11ftlb I really wouldn't be too bothered, unless competing or shooting at the longest possible range you are not going to notice the difference. I frequently enjoy shooting paper targets and plinking at ~12m with an 8ftlb springer and for that purpose 2/3rds the limit is plenty.

@@Beesa10 Agree ... and ultimately , accuracy is paramount ... like your feedback mate .. appreciated

think of is paid out the day amount and fit those figures, the rifle would be coming back a bit sharpish . those QYS are good pellets, but sadly not sit up in price once every one caught on to them

Good way to show ppl what works with that rifle. Obviously every barrel is different but this gives a good idea of what pellet to choose..., and what not to choose (pointy crap) 🤣😎

i get 11.5flbs with 14.33 grain pellets from my gamo phox and it costs nowhere near the price of the r10 plus near enough 8 out of the ten shots go through the same hole

Interesting video regarding pellet choice, would be nice for a shop like yourself to put 50no. Of each In a small plastic wallet and sell, appreciate labour costs, but no doubt your selling price would be more. cost effective than buying a full tin of each pellet ! Plus one more hopefully positive comment, would have been nice to see the rectical of the scope, as thinking of buying one Please accept these are suggestions not any criticism Keep the vids coming as enjoyable and informative Go steady and stay safe
