If I were Unity I'd buy you and make your amazing tools accessible to all users built in just to attract more users into Unity, just can't get any better than that! Thank you for these super awesome tutorials, I love them!

This is excellent but could you please do a tutorial on using the Stamper over multiple terrain tiles? I've started by creating 1 Terrain tile and then added more as I go and I'm struggling to stamp the new terrain tiles to not only line up with the previous tiles but I can't figure out how to respawn biomes to cover the newly stamped terrains. Every time I learn more about GP2021, it raises a ton of new questions. This thing is so deep! 😂

It really is amazing how well this sw works. Probably going to upgrade to the GPro 2021 cause I like the idea of World Designer which if I understand it correctly is like using a bunch of stampers in one shot. Anyway keep at it Adam this is really useful and practical stuff. And no please don't sell out to Unity FFS!

Hi, I'm new to Gaia and I'm having trouble with stamping. If I use any Target Biome, other than Alpine Meadow, I get missing texture. In some all the textures are missing and in others the grass is there but that's it. Please help

Thanks for sharing this. Loving the new updated tutorials. Would you guys be making a tutorial for mobile users in the future?

Next big focus for Gaia is mobile. Tutorials will follow.

@@AdamGoodrich thanks alot Adam, if possible can you guys try out realism instead of low poly in order for us to get some ideas how you guys handle the fps.
@AdamGoodrich3 жыл бұрын
@@johndouglas6519 FPS is handled in many ways - from camera layer based culling, to Flora, which renders our vegetation. We will be releasing the next iteration of Flora in the next few weeks, and we have had it running a large environment with 1.6m trees at about 40fps. Even though this will add a lot, the reality is that there is a lot to performance optimization, and this is a key focus for the next stage in Gaia's dev.

When I spawn the biome, trees are placed at sea level where my lake is. Do I have to remove them manually or is there a quicker way to deal with this?
@AdamGoodrich Жыл бұрын
If look down further in the spawner US you can see a remove capability. It will get rid of everything but the textures. Textures cant be removed other then by physically removing them from the terrain, and as these are part of your biome anyway, there is no point in doing this.

is that bug at 25:00 ?. did you fixed ?

Looking at your terraces, I'm wondering--as an experienced 3D modeler--if there's any way to simply remap the UVs of the mesh, instead of blurring it manually. That feels like an inordinate amount of work with such a sophisticated tool.

Can you use substance materials with GAIA? SBAR files?
@AdamGoodrich3 жыл бұрын
Unity doesn't support them, so, no. It was a pity the dropped support for it.

@@AdamGoodrich Bummer. Can you do a video on how to use your own custom textures for use in the Texture spawner?

Your video here is fairly inferior for a beginner since you jump over and do not even mention the exact location of numerous menu clicks as you proceed. Don't make any tutorials unless you are dedicated to speak clearly, concisely, with every detail of all your mouse movements and clicks.
