I worked on "Dallas" in 1981. Linda saw I was new on the show, introduced herself, and asked my name. For that season, if I didnt greet her first, she'd always say "Good morning, Robby". A class act as an actress, but even moreso as a person. Beautiful inside and out.

As Sue Ellen, Linda Gray was pure genius. She made Sue Ellen feel like a real person, and it's difficult to spot acting techniques. Sue Ellen's mannerisms were brilliant.

Watched it as a kid growing up and was fascinated and mesmerized by Linda Gray as SueEllen. I watched the show solely for her and J.R.'s battles. Never seen any other actor play drunk better than her. I had such sympathy for SueEllen and could relate, somehow being a kid, to her. When she left in season 12 I stopped watching until she came back for the final episode. Never have seen seasons 13 & 14. I had a thing for a few brunette actresses in the late 70's early 80's. Her, Margot Kidder, Carrie Fisher, and JoBeth Williams. Wish they could've given the reboot a couple more seasons.

I was born in 77 and I had to have a bath Saturday night & I’ve curly hair…😢 but my mam knew Dallas was coming on (& I knew the music-still do!). I was delighted as my mam could “fix” my hair in the front room while we both watched Dallas.

Can anyone tell me when this was recorded? 2011 ish? Am so ipressed with Linda's naturalness, genuiness and humble passion for her craft. I remember watching Sue Ellen in the 70s, 80s and '90's, and whether cheering for or laughing at the characte,r Sue Ellen made us all feel connected with her and made us all react. Her performance always reached through the screen. I would love to hear her speaking more about the cougar season with Christopher Atkins. I have heard Joanne Linville speak compellingly about her own acting-as-reacting approach to the craft, and I love the simple, direct way Linda Graye references that approach here. I think she's fantastic. And, wow, how beatifully Linda carries her age. Brava Linda and Thank you for giving us, ultimately, such an empowering character in Sue Ellen.

I love Sue Ellen character. I love Dallas. I remember asking my dad if I could watch the TV in the master bedroom. He said yes, and come cross Dallas pilot show. I was hooked and during the first commercial I had my brother and mom watching the show. I was 10 yrs old and probably shouldn’t be watch it. Living in Austin TX at the time I have to watch the show. Best TV of all time. As of matter of fact, I’m on season 9 of watch Dallas. This morning I texted my mother “Bobby Ewing just died.” My mother replied “My condolences to the Ewing family.” She knows I’ve been watching Dallas for the last 2 weeks.
