I found BTOB in late 2018. I got baited with It's Okay, hooked by Missing You and got reeled into the beautiful trap that is BTOB with this song. And now I cannot, and do not, want to get out. This is a dope song and up until now, I can't believe that this song never won in any music show.

its incredibly unfortunate that ilhoon is no longer in the group. he was an incredibly talented third gen rapper who could have found sooo much success in his own solo work if korea and these companies werent so harsh on "drug use" aka marijuana in this situation

Watching this again made me a bit sad about discovering Ilhoon's rap right after he had to leave...I hope he'll come back when he's ready like B.I did. This song is one of the hardest song in Kpop, the battle between the vocal and rap line. BTOB sets the bar so high. The Vocal Kings. Their masterclass talents and wholesome personalities are the reasons why these men was respected so much.

Man, if you want some serious chills, listen to a live (just don't listen to the funny mic version bc you will never hear things the same way again lol) that 4 part harmony with the rap over/under it is amazing. I still laugh at Changsub immediately shooting down IBYM in ep 2 of Kingdom saying that it was too high - BUDDY YOU COMPLAINED ABOUT BACK DOOR BEING TOO HIGH WTF. (And he still nailed it even being sick. jfc. this idiot.) edit: Oh and like... don't worry about Minhyuk, the man *wants* people to thirst over him. He knows what he's doing.

You know what, its amazing to see how you interpreted the mv really. I always enjoyed different interpretations from different reactors for this mv. Melody once asked btob the story behind the mv but they said they had no idea hahaha😂 But btob never had the exact story for their mv. They always leave it for our creativity on how we interpret the mv and the song. I guess that is kpop in general imo. Each people have different impact on how a song made them feel or think. So its okay however you think the song is all about. Those type of fans that always says things like they know everything arent worth it. Songs and music are much more flexible and diverse than we think and thats what makes it fun. People are too serious about a song these days and even cause a major fights on social media which is weird honestly. Anyways thanks a lot for this amazing reactions. Hope for more btob in the future. Theyre much more diverse in their discography than what people always perceive about them.

I like the way you described the story line of the MV and all. You won't get any thoughts like this from BTOB, that's for sure LOL. In an interview they took turns to explain the MV and non of them had the same story or any cohesive storyline at all LOL. You should watch their live performances to this song, they absolutely SLAY it. Sometimes they performed this even without in-ears, which is CRAZY, since they do that stupidly high note in the chorus and even do a 4-part harmony vs 2 rappers at the end. Truly insane stuff! Since you like darker concepts maybe check out BTOB's Thriller, other songs (not as dark): Outsider, Only one for me, Beautiful Pain, Movie. MVs with storyline like movies: It's Okay, Way back home and Remember that. BTW, Lee Changsub (One of the vocalists in BTOB, he was in Kingdom, he's the first one to sing after Peniel's intro in I'll be your man) just had a comeback with Surrender, it's a bop, check it out if you'd like. Like the song, it was a very emotional reaction! I want to believe that the scenes in the church are the past, memories. Yes, this is the good thing that was between them - a calm world full of trust. But he destroyed it and the payback came to him for it. Daniel says that he has changed and become better and now he is praying that she will come back and believe him. And I want to believe that friends will support him and help him even in such a difficult situation, when even he does not believe in forgiveness (footage from warehouses, from the base). This is probably because I don't want to stop believing in goodness, I don't want to lose hope. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you the same way you share with us.😊

14:51 how I wish he gets back to BTOB because Ilhoon is the rapper that made me appreciate rap verses. His flow never felt detached to the entire song. Talking about Kingdom Mnet experts panel are mostly producers and one of the comments maybe you saw it already is that BTOB on his first stage with Missing you they sacrifice performance for vocal, and tell it like a negative comment, personally i think even just a singer and a mike without choreo can give an amazing performance if express correctly well they where basing on Kpop trend so I guess that is the reason because they rank low Stray Kids for I'll be your man i thik it's almost the only stage where they have not many dance moments. 🙄 Even when they did an entire musical there.

i just felt it was probably the wrong cover of btob’s to do in such a short amount of prep time because of how big this song is. its not like SKZ did a bad job but yeah there was a vibe from their performance that i was like ehh. i would have loved if SKZ had done their spin on one of btob’s more upbeat tracks like Wow or Movie, etc since most non fans view btob as only ballad kings when they have songs that aren’t ballads that are super fun.

I like your interpretation I also interpreted in that kid of history line similar to a war movie and glad you did it because lately surprising many reactors don't get any history line unlike when the song came out😅.
