I am curious and you seem to have experience with this, currently I have the engine in my 18 1LE torn down due to blow by and am considering a cam upgrade. Would you recommend the VVT 230 or VVT 225 for track days/time trials racing? Also, do you only tune cars built at you facility?

We actually don't have *that many* road course customers to pull hard data from, but if you were trying to choose between the two (225 vs 230), there's going to be some variables (and preferences) based on what intake manifold you go with and where you want the power band to be for your driving style/gearing and what tracks you'll be frequenting. Based on the two cars we did which were fairly similar (except for the shortblock), the 225 cam seems to offer a bit more in the mid range (4000-6000)rpm. Where the 230 cam seems a little more linear. Both Cams netted very similar peak power numbers, but the 225 seemed to hold a "flatter" curve on both HP and TQ giving a little more power in that midrange. Obviously, some of that could be different with different manifolds and where you want the power. But unfortunately, we haven't done a bunch of 1:1 comparisons as far as cam to cam, or manifold to manifold. Sounds awesome! What kind of power does it make and do u need a converter with an A10? Nvm i saw 554 whp nice!! Convertwr needed?

Yah, we ran an upgraded converter- the 230 VVT is ALOT of cam.
