They wrote this because of the pandemic. They released it in October 2020 when we were in the middle of the pandemic. They really captured how the world was and for some still feel about it.

The entire MV and song including the producing, lyric writing, camera work (which was done by JK) and even the stlying was all done by the boys. Tbh the entire BE was self produced by them. This song also brought me comfort especially thru the pandemic, which the lads wanted to do, it helped me to keep going on in my life as normal as I could.

Some scenes were actually shot at the house where all 7 members equally own and share. Like the bedroom shot it was the actual room of Jimin and J-hope. And some raw video shot by JK when they would have their phtoshoots and other activities. The MV was directed by JK itself.

this song is the title track of the BE album and in that album all the 7 members had a job to do , for example suga made the song "telepathy" and was responsible for the album's design , and V was the visuals director where he had to direct all the album's photoshoots and pick the concepts and he made the song " blue & grey" also he's the one who asked jk to direct the MV , jk made "stay" and directed this MV cuz he's good at filming ...etc . I hope you'll do an entire album review it's sooooo good 👍
