If you watch cypher 2 or 4 live notice how many ad live they throw in for each other especially Suga adds in so much to the other two when they are rapping live I’d never realized it till I closely watched them live. Fun fact suprême Boi was actually one of the members of bts originally, suga was meant to be a producer but Bang pd saw the talent in him.( rapping). Supreme Boi wasn't rlly interested in the whole boy group things so he opted for being a producer!

Daaaaamn. Someone who actually knows their shit. I'm impressed. Great reaction to one of the best raps on the planet. JHope is flow, RM is intellectual, Suga is cut through the crap blunt. All three are masters with very different styles which is what makes the Cyphers so fun to listen to. Triptych is the perfect title. RM and Suga were both underground rappers. When they joined BTS a lot of their "friends" from the underground turned on them telling them that they sold out, that now they look like girls and therefore can no longer call themselves rappers. A famous incident of this was with a rapper named B-Free who just kept belittling them during a joint press interview (you can find the video of it on YT). They kept their cool at the time but the cyphers were a direct response to B-Free and others like him. Years later RM released a solo rap called Do You and he says the same thing in that. How you look doesn't define who you are or what you can do. That you can look nice, dress well and still be a legit rapper. So there is some actual anger coming from Suga and RM in the Cyphers and if you ever listen to that press call with B-Free you'd understand why.

I don’t know how much you know about the Korean underground rap scene talking shit about RM and Suga for joining BTS but it got pretty ugly. That’s really who they’re talking to when they do diss tracks like this one. Here’s a clip that shows them being mocked in a meeting of k-rappers. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYumdp98aK-Bjrs I think a guy named B-Free was the worst. Watch the clip, you don’t have to react to it. But it will give your background to the cyphers and “Mic Drop.” By the time of Cypher 4, the BTS rap line was done dealing with their haters and basically saying “player haters, you should love yourselves.” Great reaction, as always.
