BTS never misses. They don't do many covets but when they do you know it will be great. The band is their longtime band : Ghost Band. This song was arranged and produced by one of their longtime producers. They recently did a cover of a Coldplay song on MTV Unplugged. React to BTS's cover of Fix You.

I think it is worthy to point out this was more an adaptation than a pure cover. The BBC as part of Live Lounge asked BTS to perform someone else's song and based on Covid separating them from fans they wrote original verses while retaining the chorus to meet the BBC's requirement. It was developed as a BBC network event, not a cover to be released and monetized in the classic sense. I think some of the critics, who justifiably have deep connections to the Puff Daddy/Faith Evans original, are not in touch with this aspect and feel BTS is exploiting something they treasure for cultural reasons. But I think this is not the case. Despite the viewer's comment on 11 million views, releases on their label Big Hit typically gain 50 to 100 million views within 24 hours. This is a performance plain and simple not a release. And perhaps it will both serve its purpose of healing in times of Covid and reignite interest in the original. Both I think would be good things.

V lost his Grandma not that long ago. He spoke of her & how close they were ..... you can almost hear his heartbreak in his verses.. I know I was brought up by my Grandma and losing her was devastating. More than 40 years later I still feel the loss. Then my better-half passed a year ago.... This song is beautifully reimagined by BTS.

The misconception people get is this was a puff song, it was actually written by Faith Evans and she asked Puff to be a part of the song. It surprises me how many people don't know about this. But thank you for the reaction.

They performed not live-but covers in their early days pre-debut. RM explained the origin of the song. Puffy, Faith, 112, Sting. I respect that they shaped the song to their situation-their pain because it wouldn’t be real otherwise. They haven’t experienced the loss of a spouse and best friend. That is a pain and grief that cannot be duplicated. They respect the music and the artists. I truly love and respect the members of BTS.

Certainly they've never lost a spouse, but they have lost people who were close to them. Taehyung and Yoongi specifically have gone through publicly known about losses. Taehyung lost his grandmother, who raised him and was very much like a second mother to him. Then later he lost his grandfather and within that same time, Yoongi lost his grandmother as well. (Though because you mentioned about pre-debut, I'm guessing you're ARMY too. So, I'm really sorry if I'm telling you something you already know and I absolutely mean no offense by putting this out there.) Honestly, I think it's far more respectful that they rewrote some of the lyrics to fit their struggles rather than simply singing about someone else's personal tragedy. Because you're absolutely right, no one can duplicate someone else's loss. Even if another woman who has lost her husband were to have covered the song, it wouldn't have been the same pain and grief that Faith felt losing Biggy. Everyone experiences things differently and the best we can do is empathize through our own experiences.

My personal favorite "other version" video is "DANGER (Mo-Blue-Mix) , featuring THANH". Thanh is an Australian-Vietnamese singer. This song has a R&B vibe with some great lyrics added by Thanh. There are loads of their other songs including some of my favorites: “Dionysus”, “Ma City”, “Truth Untold”, ”Outro: Tear”, “House of Cards”, “Lost”, “Dimple”, “Butterfly”, etc. and their solo, rapline, vocal line, short films, comeback trailers, etc. not included.

GHOST is the band and they have appeared numerous times with BTS in live performances like this and the recent Tiny Desk Concert (must see it). They also do live concerts with them too.... my favorite is when Ghost joined BTS on "MA CITY".... it is really raw, fun and unleashed..... and BTS acknowledged each band member during the performance. "Ma City" is homage to their hometowns and you will love it, guaranteed!!!

I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun. I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll". I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun. The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too. I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along. It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter. Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun. Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us. You'll never get another band like BTS who love their fans so much and who works so hard for them. Thankyou BTS for a wonderful birthday present.

BTS and amazing and a very diverse group of artists. you should react to 1- black swan (a song written by the members about; what happens if their passion for music is lost). 2- On - kinetic manifesto film (if you wanna see how their performances look like kinda like a preview. the song is about accepting pain and moving on with it.) 3- rap heavy song with a lot of meaning by the rap line is OUTRO:TEAR. (wrote when they were thinking of disbanding the band . the live performance is absolutely fire, the lyrics even more so). try these out then if you like it we'll move on from there. they have covered almost every genres.

That was V our Saxophone player and Jazz lover, he was siting between with RM Rapper and and Jimin with the extremely high voice but who also has some rather deep growls you'd hear him use in other songs. Then you have Jungkook, the Jin then Suga(aka Agust D) Rapper and on the end 3rd Rapper J Hope.
