Jhope said in his letter he released along with the album he said he realised "good music creates good dancing" I think thats the core of this album. Usually dancers listen to existing music and dance to it. Here we have a dancer making music to dance to.

This album is actually an OST for j-hope's docu-series Hope On The Street in which he goes around the world meeting with renowned dancers in different cities. Each city has a specific type of street dance assigned to it and a specific song. Like Osaka is popping and i wonder, Seoul is locking and Unlock/Lock, Paris is house and I Don't Known, New York is hip hop and What If, and Gwangju is Neuron (which was the name of his street dance team in Gwangju before BTS). So it's really cohesive in theme.

J-Hope auditioned for Big Hit with Yoonmirae’s Black Happiness and she is considered the queen of Korean rap. Gaeko also godfather to rap in Korea. Legends- and as important for Mirae to shoutout his name. Check out her music

I like Gajah’s message and encourage people to give it a listen. So proud of Hobi, he always has such great vision with his work and so happy he got to work with several people who he respects and grew up being inspired by on this project.

As a Hoseok biased army I really hope that people will stop sleeping on his vocals now!! He was showing off with this album but he has always been a really good singer and can be found in most of BTS as background vocals and even in some solo stuff🙌🏼 Hope On The Street as well as Hope World has been his brand for many years , he had a series of vlives (that are now on Weverse but can be found on KZbin) called Hope On The Street where he would dance. I hope someday you’ll react to those 🙏🏼

Yoonmirae is considered the Queen of Rap in Korea. She is a Korean-black rapper who is married to rapper Drunken Tiger. She is bilingual and lives in Korea and is very well known and respected. I hear JHope did her song "Black Happiness" when he was auditioning for BTS. People should check out Yoonmirae's Black Happiness song, a biographical song about the childhood hardships she experienced being biracial in Korea.

argh. I love seeing the guys working with Korean hip hop OGs like Yoon Mirae, Seo Taeji, and Tiger JK. It feels homey for some reason. Like - the young underground wannabees rejected BTS, but the Real Ones knew their worth. I would love to see you reacting to Yunjin solo songs, and I truly believe you would enjoy it too, her lyrics, her melodyes, the meanings she puts behind her songs is just beautiful and soo touching, she also did the artwork for two of her songs, and she did the filming and editing on two others, along with the writing, production and composition of all of them, of course. I agree with you on the collab with Huh Yun-Jin. I am not a fan of her at all but I truly think their voices worked so well togetehr. TBH,(Huh Yun-Jin's fams may hate me for saying this haha) I don;t thnnk I can listen to the whole song just her sinign gon her own as her voivce is a little too high sharp pitch for me but blended in with JHope I really like the combo. Like you I wouldn't mind seeing more sings from this pair!
