This song is just so cute and beautiful yet it seems so sad, it kinda gives me spring day, i need you, serendipity, fake love, BST (Japanese), lights (japanese) and euphoria vibes as well. I love the meaningful lyrics and the mv firs perfectly, this is my favourite Japanese sing they have released so far. Also the vocals are even more beautiful in this song and Yoongi’s vocals as well as Jimin’s sound so sweet and cute and caring. BTS did a great job with this song and mv. Also their smiles are just the cutest especially Yoongi’s and Jungkook’s, also I love how Tae was the one to “ turn on” the tree by touching the purple moss as he was the one who came up with what the colour purple meant and the message to me from this song is no matter how dark and difficult life gets just stay positive and happy. (Happiness=Gold)

And if I look at it, it looks like the RM is the same problem as himself when it was seen in the Fake Love MV in the scene where the RM is looking at the mirror and there are 2 RM there. So why in the Spring Day and Stay Gold parts are the roles of Jungkook and V reversed ... because they are directly connected ... there is in the Spring Day lyrics that "you know it all, you are my best friend ..." right there in the V part with Jungkook The one who sings (not the one, but the one in the song, if the performance is changed with Jin in the Jungkook part, well in the MV Begin, when Jungkook is looking for his hyung and the burned painting is a V, right? .. why is it like that? Srry, Imma nerd out rn. but I think the whole theme of the song comes from Robert Frost's poem of 'Nothing Gold can Stay.' Basically the whole essence of the poem is focusing on youth. It's referencing that you need to hold onto your youth, joy, positivity, etc, and saying that youth will eventually disappear. So essentially what I'm saying is that I think this song is leaning towards the idea of holding onto youth and positivity, and making most of the moments that will eventually be gone. However, the song could mean something else entirely, and 'gold' may signify so many other things that it's hard to say what 'gold' really is.....
