Hey, Luke! Aneesa made TRoB series! She’s a professional editor, and does all of this amazing work out of love. She does have a Patreon, but it was stood up at the requests of fans of the series who wanted to somehow give back to the project and is used to help fund the softwares and tools needed to keep the project running. She donates the excess to good causes in the name of BTS and ARMY. I believe the series is going to end with Episode 24? At that point, everything she wanted to have said will have been said. Her storytelling is amazing, and I’m so grateful for all the work and love that she and others put into the series. 💜

Congrats on the Verification wow haha!! To answer your question the creator of the series is BEYOND amazing! She did it by herself her name is Aneesa Mahboob! She did it out of love and to create a fairer representation of BTS! With the little money she earned from the series she just kept the part that covers her expenses to create the series (Premiere pro...) but she is donating all the rest!!! She donated for example $300 to an ARMY project recently for BTS' 9th anniversary. She doesn't want to keep the money. She recently had a super interesting conversation with PlanetArmy on KZbin (I'd recommend it to every ARMY) and explains the whole creation process and at what cost (she burned herself out and sacrificed/ dedicated years of her life) did she create this series, and discussed what it is to be ARMY from day 1, actually seeing all the struggles, paying for their meals, offering them rice cookers, how uncertain their future was etc... super eye-opening

thanks for reacting to this series so far! when you said rm and jungkook seemed the most confident it really got to me. it's amazing how they convey that sense of security and comfort even in the midst of chaos, all of them. and yes, namjoon for being the leader always tries to stay positive and with his head held high for the whole group and especially for the boys' self-esteem, so they know that someone always believes in them and this is already too motivational and keeps the spirit hea needs. yet behind all this it breaks my heart to think that rm is so insecure yet outwardly laid back he always walks around with an internal war that, never good enough at anything, not talented or handsome enough, skilled enough. it is possible to notice behind his look, his speeches, that he is very strict and rigid with himself... until today but especially at that time. he has a mixtape, his 2 mixtape called mono which is very emotional and describes a lot of these conflicts that dispute his mind, his body and especially his soul, I highly recommend it, it is extremely reflective and touching. and going back to the beginning, I think it's especially beautiful that they promote this message of self love to the fans, good health, a good life and happiness and comes to moment when they stopped and thought of themselves not just as artists but as humans too and for the first time they had the thought that "I did my best today, I'm proud of myself" and this process of trying to stop criticizing yourself so much and each day trying to love every version of itself is something bts has been learning side by side with army for a long time. I love it, it's not easy and it's very exciting to go back to the beginning and remember who, with all the difficulties and inconstancy possible, they always remained a believer in the power that music has to change things. transform the world. congratulations for the verification!!! Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Congrats on the Verification! Even though i don't know what it means. 😅So glad u started this series. Aneesa the creator of this docu series is an editor. It took her 4 yrs of research to create 20 plus chapters. Many army don't want this series to end. Aneesa has to do more research to tell the rest of BTS story. She sadly does not have much help. This is why it's going to be a long break to get more after we catch up to the final chapters. Sigh. The guys practice 12-16 hrs daily. Warren G was inspired and impressed during American Hustle Life thus, he asked RM to collab. That is huge. And Iris actually is the lady Sister Act movies are based on. The more u know! The problem with the Korean pop industry is they "own" their idols. The recruit them, train them, make all the rules, and then can decide at any point they want they can release them... even if they have spent years in training and never debuted. The other problem is "breaks" .. I've listened to BigHit and BTS talk about how long between breaks. It's years. It burns up the performers and not to mention they recruit kids as young or younger than 12... straight out of their homes to live in the care of the industry. Many of the companies have such ridiculous requirements for perfection to extended practices and school to cosmetic surgeries. South Korea should be better than that and strong laws should be enacted to prevent abuses. BTS is different since their enormous popularity allows them to make lots of their rules when contract time comes .. others are not so lucky. What I've said I've learned from reading and from those who have either left the industry or been made to leave it. It is a pretty sad state of affairs tbh.
