I am a woman and I will alwas defend War of Hormone. I didn't find it offensive, there are way worse songs made in the west actually objectifying women and nobody bats an eye. Every other western artist uses women as props for their MVs to flex and nobody cares, either. But since it was BTS and people were trying to find a reason to hate and cancel them... they will always find one, no matter how miniscule and blow it out of proportions.

I agree with the part where you said that people just hate on it because its BTS. But tbh as a woman, although it didnt majorly affect me, it did leave a bad taste in my mouth. But I know they've changed alot since then and I also know that they apologized for this a very long time back too, so I'm not mad about it. Regarding the western artists, I totally see where you're coming from. They do this shit all the time but 1) people actually do call them out, but not enough people care about the issue to fix it (but unfortunately there is nothing u and me can do to stop it) and 2) just because they do it doesn't make it right. War of Hormones. Okay, in all honesty, the "Women are an equation, men do it" was apparently a misstranslation, it's "Men are the solution". I don't remember the heat either, but since they apologized and they started researching extensively before and after writing, Im guessing it was pretty bad. I don't have any problems with the song and a lot of female fans don't, it sounded and looked like satire to me. It's a fun and catchy song. But the fact that they researched and looked into why this criticism was there makes me so very proud of them. I think it opened the doors to great subjects later on, them writing in genderless lyrics and about love in a general/non-romantic sense. P.S. Well she didn't wanna ride with JHope, she still might take the car with V haha

I think it's pretty stupid to be mad at War of Hormone. They said it themselves that the theme of the song was to represent what teenage boys think, and I don't care how "proper" a guy says he is, those are going to be his thoughts a lot of the time. They didn't disrespect women at all, they maybe objectified women a bit but that is also where the double standards come in. Women don't get called out for objectifying men half as much as men do. (different levels of objectification and produced uncomfortableness taken out for the sake of the message). The song wasn't nearly as bad as most mainstream western artists' songs.

There's something especially poignant about watching wab: the eternal after watching so many of the music videos. Probably because as you watch each video, you know what they were going through at those times. And especially because some of those struggles are depicted in the video. Knowing where they came from and how far they've come, and hearing those lyrics, it makes you want to hold every last one of those men so tightly. Not only did I make it to the end, I'm gonna watch it again with my sister tomorrow. And I'm not even gonna warn her about Namjoon's braids 😂 she's foetus army so it will be fun to show her the evolution of BTS. Thanks for the great video, Seb. 💜
