Stigma is very much on the genre V loves, he has Very much of a different taste in music compared to other BTS members. He really loves Jazz, Blues, Soul and even classical music. I think Classical is one of his Great Loves in Music. And He has Just Right Voice, tone and range to do this kind of music. He is talented! I wouldve LOVED to see you do STIGMA live.

Hi Linton, V wrote Stigma at the age of 19. Could you also react to Sweet Night by him? This is an indie that is of a different genre from Stigma. You'll be able to hear the versatility of his vocals.

I love the way that you analyze the songs you listen to! When i first heard this song, and i looked at the lyrics, I interpreted it very differently than you, mostly because of personal experiences. To me, the lyrics strongly reminded me of when I came out to my parents, And how badly they reacted. I had hid who i was for so long, i buried it so far down, in hopes that the idea that i wasn't a perfect, straight girl would be gone. Unfortunately, it wasn't. So when I came out to my parents, it didn't go well. And like the lyrics of Stigma, it was as if they were the ones being punished, not me. They blamed themselves, like it was their fault that i turned out this way. They would say things like "how could you do this to me, after everything we've done for you." The lyrics of Stigma really resonated with me in that sense, particularly when he was apologizing to his family, and the line "are you calling me a sinner" Along with the part that goes "even if i tried to hide it or conceal it, it can't be erased" it reminded me of how i would try to hide and act normal, but it was still there. Along with my family telling me that i was sinning by being gay, that i would be punished for it. (Ironically enough, looking back on it, they were more punished than me) Anyways, this was kinda long and probably made no sense lol, but i loved your reaction!

Linton, I love your voice and your reactions. You should be on the radio with that voice. As an educator, I appreciate your intelligence and commitment to teaching and learning in your reactions. I'm a 62 year old Army and beyond the great music and visuals, I appreciate the positive and thoughtful messages BTS bring to their music. RM is a reader, too, and brings his learning to many of their lyrics. Watch the live of this song and "Singularity" by V is also a favorite of mine. That song is deep, too. Keep on reacting. BTS is unlike any music group I've come across in my lifetime.

If you love this I really suggest checking all their other wings solo songs, but don’t worry group songs are great too. Really. I personally enjoy a lot the most beautiful moment in life pt 1 and 2 (albums). But all their music, honestly. They’ve got so many beautiful songs. What’s really nice with bts is how they like to experiment and play around with different themes and music genres. Maybe you could check ddaeng , since you like these kinds of artistry experimentation and rap, as well as nice cultural touches. It’s nice seeing you enjoy slower pace music from them as well! When the music is good, the music is good hahahah

I couldn't help but to cry when you start reflecting on the song as this song were one of the first BTS songs that got me into BTS and I was torn, lost and as what you said the feeling of just being broken due to personal internal issues. Thank you for reflecting the song with the explanation of catharsis which made sense as to why I was so drawn to the song when I discovered them. I didn't even know I was broken but yeah. I don't find this reflective type of reaction and review these days. so thank you again and again for sharing your thought process in the video based on the song you are reacting :) and also thank you for putting out the message of that I have to let myself give the permission to be better rather than let myself rot in pain. I needed that today.

This is one of V’s best, called “Sweet Night.”It was written for a tv show. I think it’s all in English. It’s gorgeous. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4WolX6notWXba8. Even if you don’t react, listen to it. This song you’re reacting to, “Stigma” is from the BU and part of the fictional storyline, I believe. I forgot to tell you that the “Sweet Night” version I gave you is a lovely compilation video created by elisssa, a channel on KZbin. She creates the best videos of BTS showing lots of behind the scenes moments set to a particular BTS song. She’s amazing.

While not necessarily intended to be a lgbt+ song, it can seen through that lens. There is a very good, very well put together and very long paper on Quora (that's pretty easy to find) that gives her point of view on why it's talking about the lgbt+ experience. I know that I personally relate to the song that way. However, the beauty of music is that there can be a lot of interpretations. This is my favorite solo song by V. Singularity is amazing though. Jimin's Lie, Serendipity and Filter are also some of my favorites. Something to look in to. Always enjoying your thoughtful interpretation and analysis. 😎💜
