I remember the first fight really well. Barao walked into the cage like he was unbeatable, but tj looked like he just knew something that we didn’t. And he did . His movement was too much for Renan and tj possibly started the decline of baroa’s career. I’m not a massive fan of tj, but he is a great fighter. @liamchanning23

Yes it's necessary. Every title fight has a story and TJ is 50% of it. If it wasn't spoken about it would be weird, almost as if it was being brushed under the carpet and accepted. But I do think it should become less and less prevalent the more he fights, but as for now, it makes complete sense that it's being spoken about.

Did Jones need them too? I always thought he didn't.

TJ didn't need it to make the weight but he needed the energy because he was sapped of it. Demetrious Johnson spoke about it and asked TJ straight up why he did it and he told him point blank that's what it was. He didn't have the energy after the weight cut to compete at Flyweight and what he took gave his energy back to him after cutting so much. He's admitted to his wrongdoing, was and has been upfront from the start, some of the real UFC followers and casuals hate him for doing what he did and but at the end of the day, he's doing right by himself, he did his time, and he's back as the same elite bantamweight he's always been probably on his final Championship run given his age. He's still as sharp as ever and he's still going to be a problem.

@@talon3684 he would of never admitted hadnt he got caught. He would of rode off calling himself a legit double champ. Its funny people say "well he admitted it" guess what he couldnt deny it it was in his piss.

These guys are all doping. Get over it. Something has to REALLY go wrong for them to actually test positive

Nothing but excuses for cheating. He can't just man up and say "I wanted the cardio edge, so I took EPO.". Lance Armstrong 2.0, except without the charity and vision to help others.
