I ordered an ECU from Flagship One for my 2011 Camaro RS. The first one I ordered took 2 weeks to get in and it was DEAD ON ARRIVAL. It was supposed to "plug-n-play" and it wasn't. Spent an additional $250 to get it reprogrammed and it was still DEAD. Filled out the Flagship One RMA Slip and sent it back and waited an ADDITIONAL 2 WEEKS and the second one is ALSO DEAD!! I contacted Flagship One to request a refund and they told me that the 40 day return policy was expired! Complete nonsense and this company does NOT Stand behind their products. Avoid at all cost!!!

Great video. I had to order two ecms from flagship one. First was a ecm for a 2007 jeep liberty with a 3.7. Alternator wasn't charging. New ecm fixed that. Next was a ecm for a 2006 Ford f150. Both ecms had the correct vin written to them. On the Ford I just had to program the keys and the truck started up. No issues so far

i purchase a ECM for my equinox from flagship 1. The ECM didn't work. They said it was my problem.

Being a mechanic, i have ordered a few ECU`s, but now I have questions lately for all the Companies that reman. ECU`s. Like, how do you know what to remanufacture when you remanufacture an ECU ? How do you verify that the microprocessor`s flash memory and ram and I/O`s are working good, how do you check the SMD/SMT Resistors while still in circuit ? Do you have specialized testing equipment that can verify all the above and simulate in car operation ? Are you just getting salvaged ECU`s and rewriting the VIN # to the EEPROM ?

Update. Got a used Ecu from Flagship and wouldn`t even start the engine. Checked the Vin and they didn`t write in the vin I gave them. I rewrote in the correct vin and engine still wont start. The original EcU starts the engine but it`s causing transmission issues. Wonderful

@@BubbasgarageTv My OE ECM isn't controlling the SL1, SL2 and SLT solenoids correctly as observed with DVOM. Forgot to mention they sent an ECM programmed with immobilizer , which the car isn't equipped.

Got me a flagship 1 ecm after watching this video for my 2005 cadillac cts. The first one they sent..... everything worked but the car ran very bad so i sent it back. The second one i got the car wont even start..... im getting very irritated

I have a 99 Alero with a 3400 SFI V6 that I installed a flagship one ECM on and it works just fine, I had replaced the old one because the 99 aleros had a faulty ignition cylinder that would cause the anti-theft to go off in the vehicle wouldn't start but I have had zero issues with this thing they asked me for the VIN number and the type of motor that it had and I plugged it in and it fired right up with the new ignition cylinder no programming necessary

I loathe that company!!! Absolute worst. Van is at dealer now getting their PCM reflashed because they didn’t program the VIN correctly.

Purchased PCM for my F-150. Supposed to arrive in 3-5 business days. 16 actual days later, it arrived. Installed it. Check engine light one after it was "bench tested for 6 days" ... oh yeah. Vehicle ID Block was not programed and had O2 Sensor failure. Had to send unit back and fill out an insane RMA form. Unit was received in 3 days, was told unit would be done quickly. No updates from manager other than the day it was received. Called on phone after 2 weeks passed and emails were ignored to find out unit was programmed and awaiting shipment. At the end of 3 WEEKS unit arrives, SAME ISSUE. I sent in pictures of the errors from the scanner software and explained in DETAIL what was wrong and what needed fixed. NOTHING CHANGED. Still Vehicle ID Block no programmed and check engine light on because of it. I called no more than 5 minutes after receiving it and putting the unit in the truck. They wanted me to send it back AGAIN (for what? Another 5 weeks?) I told them to send a replacement and I would send this back. I was brushed off because I would not send unit back first. This place is nuts! I know I WILL NOT be buying from them again, and wish I had not have. I will also be telling EVERYONE of this, and not to buy from them. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND TREATMENT. Wonder how long they will stay in business with this reputation?

I had the same experience!! They have my ECU and told me I have to wait 42 days to MAYBE get a refund because I disputed with my credit card company. Beware dont do business with this company!

@@TKO-NY 09, Nope. Since Forscan couldn't program the ID block, I had to take it to FORD to get it flashed.

Really. I go through the trouble of leaving a truthful review that’s bad about FS1 and someone on KZbin end deleted it. … they owe me 269.99 for a part they didn’t deliver that should have been here by 9/2/21. Don’t attempt to buy anything from them. Maybe if they know you review parts they do things right for you. Good luck if you’re anyone else.

Thanks for the feedback Shawn. Someone else in one of the comments mention they never received the ecm as well. Think they ended up having the back charge or something reversed. Im pretty sure FS1 doesn't know me, my experience has been good twice thus far. The last one last a few years sure hope this one keep working for longer. Keep us posted if you don't mind.

I ordered a PCM from flagship one brought it to my ford dealership to program the ignition keys,my dealership said that the PCM was blank.i got in touch with a rep and there gonna send me a shipping label so I can ship said PCM back to them then once they recieve the blank PCM the "technician" is gonna see that it's blank and hopefully send me a pre programmed,with updates PCM and I guess he's gna see that it's blank and send me what they say on there website.pre programmed,with the latest updates.this is for a 2000 f150 4x4 5.4l xlt stepside.anyone else have this problem with this company.

37 year shop owner 2 year ago got one for Ford truck no good .order new one fixed truck made mistake ordered one for 14. Chev truck bad emc they must not test these units sending this one back

I've installed it and followed their instructions so far its preformed flawless but I've got to get a tag before i can drive it too far it has cleared my 2 engine codes which were ecm failure to communicate and tcm po700 so my check engine light is no longer on will update if it passes inspection which is past due.... pray for me

Well.. I watched both videos before I ordered one for my 09 MKZ. Your videos helped me make the decision to order mine this morning. I have to say that part of my decision came from the cross you wear like I do. I took it as a good sign I was seeking to chalk up the bad comments as part of life and doing business. I ordered a eco from flagship…of course it doesn’t WORK!!!! I was told to fill out a form and send it back and that yes it’s 100% guaranteed… I should’ve asked… Is that 100% guarantee that it won’t work! If you have eternity to work on your car… this is the company you should use…. By the way, if I want my money back, I get to pay them $85 for reprogramming for a pile of crap and then what is ever left for my original payment will eventually come back to me… Wouldn’t it be amazing if all companies ran this way, they can just keep sending junk out and keep your $85 per reprogramming fee whether or not they work

I think you did get lucky! I ordered a PCM from them, probably more than a month ago, and yesterday, got a message from them finally that said they don't have any, they'd have to outsource one, and they don't know when they can get one. But for an additional 290.00$ they will repair mine. Smh. No thanks. Anyone know another company/place to get jeep xj PCM??

And what about flashing a PCM? Can you just unplug it or something and reset it? Or maybe clean the connections? Ugh I can't even drive my Jeep now, because it won't pass emissions with the check engine light and purge valve code. How am I even supposed to drive it to a shop now if I can't fix it myself? Currently waiting on mine to be shipped was ordered on 03/11/2022 and it was supposed to take 7 days and I keep calling and they tell me it didn’t pass the inspection , so they had to get another one and program it. Flagship was the only website I could find that even had ECM for Kia’s which is why I used them. I have a feeling I’m getting a run around.

Mind you I paid 1700 dollars for the ecm. Another seller on ebay clones them and has a ecm in stock 600 bucks just send in my original ecm to clone. 2 weeks flagship waited to message me 6 days it said my unit was being programed! What a waste of time.

Programming does not work. ECM will not work without reprograming. Warranty is you lose $85 to return, more if you reprogram and the unit will not work unless reprogrammed. so if you have a couple weeks and $200 to throw away order from Flagship One.

Sounds like they charge a little differently now days. With that said it did take a week to two weeks to get one in. This was not my primary means of transportation so I was ok with the wait.
