WARNING: I also had problems getting the unit that will not crank my car even after doing all the key relearning etc. After about 6 weeks, horrible customer support, delays, delays, delays and finally getting a second unit from them that still won’t work, I gave up! Thankfully I had paid with PayPal so I filed a dispute and did get a refund. Does anybody know where I can get a unit that works for me reliable company?

I know I am the same way. That is the original reason I started using KZbin... to find out how to fix my car/truck when something went wrong. Find out what others had discovered. Most of the time it is spot on too. If you are handy and can take directions you can save thousands lol.

Any other reputable sites for getting a PCM? Flagship One increased their prices to nearly $800 for the TJ PCM... Looking for a PCM for a 2005 2.4L 4-cylinder 6-speed. Thanks.

Hi Andrew. Honestly I don't have any experience with the others with that said I did do a quick Google search and it seems most of them are in the upwards of 1200. Wonder if they have all gone up?

@@BubbasgarageTv Yeah, it's really crazy. Guess I'll hit the junk yards within an hour radius to see if any luck comes my way. Everything tests out fine operationally and mechanically, but this darn p0128 code keeps popping up intermittently each time the PCM is reset. Multiple mechanics and dealer have looked at it for weeks. No solution from anyone yet. This code has always popped on and off over the last 9 years. Most times it has been off during inspection, which allows it to pass, but didn't have that luck this year.

Oh I know right. When you say reset the PCM do you mean by disconnecting the battery? Would be nice to have a PCM laying around to test with. Would be terrible to get another one if it dosent fix the problem you know. UGH.

@@BubbasgarageTv I know! Would hate to invest and find out the computer isn't the issue. And yes, I have disconnected the battery multiple times and about 25-30 miles in once the computer monitors have been reset, the CEL pops on again with the p0128 code. I have also taken the PCM out and cleaned all the terminals with electrical cleaner, but no luck. It's a shame. Only thing I can think of is to hit up the junk yards and see if there are any PCMs still in the TJs that might be in the lot. No luck finding anything used for sale at a reasonable price yet.

@@BubbasgarageTv Not yet. I’ve talked with several locksmiths and automotive companies and I was told the 2013 Malibu has to have the ECM “cloned” for all the security to transfer. But finding anyone that works on them hasn’t panned out yet.

On many newer models, the VIN# and Odometer reading has to be programmed into the new ECM. I've heard that this has to be done by the dealership or someone who is licensed for the programming of the ECM, or as started " the cloning" of the new one to match the old one.

You got lucky.. you will have no luck if it goes bad ..I've been waiting 2 months..for a replacement you call and just get put on hold 50 minutes,,the transferd to someone else who just tells you your gonna get an E mail when your replacement will be shipped.. then you never hear crap ... just trust me go with someone else

Thanks Andrew, you may very well be right. This was my experience only. My TJ is still working like a charm. The purchase process was pretty seamless for me. Sure hope they get you squared away and up and running soon. Keep on Jeep'n on!

Well I'm glad it was the computer Jeeps have a lot of problems with crank sensors cam sensors and underneath the fuse box it turns green so I'm glad it was the computer and it started up thumbs up my friend..

First off, I just want to say that I'm really glad that worked out for you, running into the same issues with my buddy's tj, everything points to the ecu, so we got one on order. Wish me luck! Secondly, you might want to try and level out the audio a little bit, as when you're cutting to the b-roll and such, the music is at least doubly as loud as when you're talking. Just my own thoughts on that. I don't know what editing software you use, but pretty much all of them, even wmm I believe support adjusting the levels on individual sound tracks.

And I don't even need to take the reservoir off, just unbolt it and put it on! Lol hope it works for my issue! It rained one night while I was camping and the check engine light and fan code and purge valve code have been on ever since.

Have you had any issues with the flagship one PCM? As I understand it many of their modules are from scrapped vehicles, and they've figured out how to flash new VINs to the PCMs.

I ordered an ecm from flagship one. They spray painted it , all of it, and put a decal on it and called it refurbished. Luck would have it, it was junk. Be warned

Looking for a follow up on this PCM, need a new one myself and everything I’m reading claims you can’t just swap a junkyard PCM without having it “flashed” and reprogrammed. I should have ordered mine from Flagship. Instead I ordered it from All Computer Resources and it is not working properly. Contacted ACR and got no response. Apparently they do not stand by their warranty. $200 dollars gone.

wow thats not good at all. honestly I have heard mixed reviews about Flagship as well. In my case it worked out. I do know Flagship requires you to sign paperwork for the warranty guidelines before they will even ship the replacement to you.

Had the same issue on my 2000 Jeep Wrangler... "no bus" will Not run/crank, gauges do not work. Put new computer on and still have the same issue.. Computer is from AIDA Flagship One, No flash necessary. Can you help?

Wow thats crazy. When we ordered ours we had to give them the vin so that they could program it to match. We did not go through a dealer. Not sure if this helps. This was my experience.

I know this is an old video but can anybody help, i have a 97 tj with the 6cyl and auto, it loses power sometimes and the rpms are hesitating when accelerating, i got a new pcm, everything worked fine then the Jeep broke down and fried the brand new pcm, any ideas what can be causing this?

Interesting, with the new PCM everything was running great? How long did you have the new PCM in? Sounds odd. Definitely be sure to check your ground connections. These TJs are bad about that. Are you sure the new PCM is actually bad?

Hi Connor, honestly I don't recall specifically. I would definitely trouble shoot all other starting problems first if possible. For me the computer was a last resort. Didn't know what else it could be you know. Hope this helps.

I got a computer for my 1998 Chrysler town and country from flagship one, based on my VIN number it came pre-flashed so it was pretty much a plug and play for my friend who's my mechanic. Thanks for your video👍

My 06 TJ 4.0 with 96,000 needs a new PCM. She's hard shifting from first to second gear. After doing research I narrowed it down to this sad to hear that it's apparently common with the 05 and 06. How is this PCM 200 dollars? The ones I see currently from Flagship for mine are 825. Also, is it still running okay after replacement now?

Great question, not sure how much different ours might be but this was on a 1997 Wrangler. It has been holding up really well.

I have an 05 with PCM issues ( O2 heater and ghost low voltage ). Will the new ECM work if you have a security system? I lost the keys and called flagship and they said the my generic keys I had made will work. It's a plug and play that I'm thinking about ordering.

Yes I replaced it already and cleared the code which was p0121. P0123 says something about circuit high input .oh and I replaced te he engine computer as well

Goodness, Check the connections at the sensor.. Then, check the wiring leading to it. Also be sure your Throttle Body is nice and clean and not filled of carbon. hmm. Still pondering, Keep us posted for sure.

So far so good. Just pulled it out the other day for the dual spot light install. I have a lot of mixed reviews but in my case everything went smoothly. Hope that helps.

hey i ordered from them also jusr waiting on delivery.. i had a issue i fixed due to my coil being bad but prior to that i took my pcm out and actually pulled it apart and bent it a little but once i put it back on and tried it i got a new code p0882 which is low voltage . you think pulling it apart prob did this? because i never had that code until then. mines a 2009 jku though

Welp, finally got my PCM in from flagship1, ($800 later) And my TJ fired right up! Thanks for the fs1 reference. Was a little ticked off at them cause they took 3 weeks to send my shipment out, but my TJ is now up and running!
