1: so you apply the bubble and then apply a not gate but isn't a bubble a inverter (not gate)? 2: if is using NAND, don't you need to change that NOR gate to a NAND? and how I do that? If I put a bubble in the output of the NOR and push through the gate to the input then I transform the NOR into a NAND? because of the "The Morgan's" Law?

Dear Luigge, here we got to make sure not to alter the basic boolean functionality (but by adding bubble we are actually changing functionality to a known form of Demorgan's law) hence to nullify the effect of bubble which was added earlier, we have to add NOT gate at places where bubbling was done.

You cancelled NOT gate in step four for double inversion but if there would be single inversion then what you would do??
