If you pause carefully (preferably by slowing down to 0.25) at around 0:05, you can briefly see the Streets Ice Cream (the Australian sister company of Good Humor that originated Bubble O'Bill) logo before the Good Humor logo shows up.

The character at 0:20 has a noticeable Australian accent when he says, “Okay, Pete!” After the gum explosion, they just froze the shot and did a DVE simulated “zoom” on the Good Humor sign. There was probably similar movement in the original ad, and it was cheaper to replicate it this way than to try to matchmove the sign over the original film. I wonder if prominent Aussie voice actor Keith Scott is doing any of the characters here.
