Lovely. I've spent a lot of time recently with basic percussion sounds like this on the 200e, and I really appreciate the detail, pace and sound quality of this video. It's nice to see you commit the entire system to a single sound. I usually seek to constrain the patch to an economical minimum to free up other modules and channels for other sounds (and I suppose to facilitate patch recall). I don't think you can get by with less than two envelopes and a VCA though, which you demonstrate here nicely. I suppose In a pinch, a single envelope to the VCO freq input with output going straight to the mixer will do, provided you stick with a simple sine. Thanks so much. Very kind. I was making drum sounds for Roland and this is how i did it - so yeah, using the whole system for one drum.
