I know I am older but I just cannot understand what is coming out of Nashville these days. There are some young one trying to write and sing like their predecessors but it slim pickins. I recently lost my dad unexpectedly. I assume this song is more about a man and his woman but I listen to it and think about how much I miss my dad and I can’t wait to be “together again.” My dad wasn’t a big country fan but he knew all the older names like Buck Owens. We used to talk about how neat it would be to sit in the crystal palace and listen to Buck sing. RIP Dad, I love you and miss you every day.
