Wow, what amazing things you did and saw there. Pammukale, the "cotton castle" from the sky and from the ground, althought it s a a pity the waters were pretty scarce at that moment. The weird white coating is from calcium carried by the waters. And then Ephesus... there is something about that place that triggers the imagination and enables you to envision the life how it was back then, much more than in many other ancient cities I have seen. Keep taking us with you, discovering the wonders of our world, you make amazing videos and have such a lovely family.

I am from Denizli (the city where Pamukkale is located) and I believe the empty natural pools aren't necessarily related to the draught we're having right now. It's because when so many people walk on the natural pools they quickly lose their white color and get a little damaged. Those pools are a natural heritage site so they have to be protected, which is why they prefer not to fill them and tourist aren't tempted to go in there. The pools you've found full are specially added by diverting the water on cemented pools for tourists to use I believe, so they can get into water without damaging the site. They're not natural but in years the white coat covered them, so they look and feel pretty much the same with the natural ones, now. I believe, they also occasionally divert the water to the natural pools, so they keep their white looks.

I believe what you're doing wıth your kids right now is something priceless and so unique and precious that they will cherish it and talk about it for the rest of their lives to literally every person they meet. The memories, experiences, bonds with their parents, knowledge from other cultures and history, they are learning and piling much more memories than any of their friends ever could! I just wanted to say, in the case of you ever had or have any doubt about these expeirences and trips about your children, I congratulate you guys as parents and only hope to become one like you.
