Apologies for the pretty potato quality, most of the shakiness you'll see is from getting pushed by the people around me, hopefully it's not excruciating to manage. Also, my phone's battery died while recording, that's why it kinda cuts out at the end.
This was Buckethead's 9th show of his 2016 tour (his first tour in almost four years!), held at Park West Theater in Chicago, IL. Unfortunately, the concert only lasted for about an hour due to technical difficulties.
Highlights:
Buckethead walks on the stage - 2:58
"Jordan" - 3:22
"Jowls" - 7:09
Buckethead dances - 8:59
Buckethead grabs non-Herbie hand puppet - 9:55
"Gory Head Stump 2006: The Pageant of the Slunks" - 11:30
"Soothsayer" - 17:57
"Meta-Matic" - 27:00
Audience get to (I attempt to) use Buckethead's kill switch - 30:08
"Botnus" - 33:09
"Turbine" - 36:30
Star Wars! - 37:02
"Binge and Grab" - 39:37
"Crash Victim" - 45:21
"Night of the Slunk" - 47:15
"Fountains of the Forgotten" - 52:37
"Siege Engine" - 56:33
Buckethead's robot dance - 1:02:17

thanks for posting this.... I was there for this show also. I was by the sound booth. I was very disappointed that the show was Plagued with bullshit failures to the point of BH walking out on the rest of the show and leaving town with no explanation or apology.but what a bad ass show he did put on for what we got to see. I'd go again in a heartbeat regardless.

***** I heard others say he messed up one of his pedals, but really, it's hard to say who actually knows and who is just wagering a guess.

+Dan McCarthy Yeah, if it was a health problem I could completely understand but it looks like it was a technical problem. Even during the show you could tell a few of the pedals weren't doing what he wanted them to do. After spending money on the show, parking, and gas I feel pretty let down I didn't get to see a whole show. Almost like things weren't working out and he just got pissed and left. I've been to hundreds of shows and never seen a artists walk off halfway through a set. Very odd for him since he is so good to his fans! Who knows though....

+Brian Peloquin Yeah, it's hard to say, but I don't think he would have just walked out. It seemed like the techs were looking into it for a bit, perhaps it was a problem they weren't going to be able to fix that night and had to cut the show. I've been hearing there's been some technical problems at his other shows lately as well. Perhaps a bi-product of him doing a show a day for practically the next two months. It's a shame for sure. It would be nice to hear from Park West what happened at least. It'd be nice if he came back to do another show in the near future, but he's booked almost every single day for a while.

+Dan McCarthy i was there too, my honest guess is that because it was an all ages show, there was tech problems and they couldn't fix them in time for "cerfew". alot of times, all ages shows have to end at a set time, like 10:30. either that, or a tech plugged one of the amp heads on without it being plugged into the cab, and it blew.

+Zak Ryan I bet your right about the all ages thing. It's 10:30 in the city? I know out here in the suburbs I believe it's 11:30. I bet your right because it totally didn't make sense.

+rob l livingston I'm going to email him about it. Everyone should. Maybe he will do a free show or more realistically something else kick ass if we do. Let's be honest he could have mic'ed up a guitar with one string and finished up the show if he wanted to because he's that damn good!

apollo11bb sometimes an hour and 10mins, sometimes 2 hours. It depends. In 2018 he did almost always 1hr30 min shows and occasionally 2 hours because of encores and in 2019 it was pretty much all 2-2hr30min shows
