The part that impressed me the most was when he leaned forward and let the audience play with his killswitch, I mean, it wasn't that big of a deal, but who lets the audience participate in jamming THAT much? As small as it was, I've never seen another musician effectively let audience members experiment WITH them. Buckethead is just amazing.

Me and my son, put a killswitch on my guitar. Its a Guya tone I got from my father year 1977! It´s a Mosright copy, a friend tryed to bougt it from me but its the only thing my father ever bougt me! My father payed 600 finnish marks 1977. On eBay to day it´s valuated to 2500 dollars. I will pass it over to my son, he is a good guitarist to day!

I'm surprised Buckethead hasn't been invited on a G3 tour yet (I hear he's difficult to work with, so that may be why). As weird as he is, he's one of the craziest, most unique, most diverse guitarists out there, and he'd make a fine addition to the trio. Most of the guitarists on those tours are the "classic shredders", and listening to just that for 2 hours can get boring. The Bucket Man can bring a new, fresh sound to the scene. He's also a master improviser (just look at the pikes series, and this concert for that matter), so he'd do especially well in the final set doing covers with the other two IMO.

Its amazing that musicians of this caliber often play small venues and produce their own CDs and simply make a living. Why? I guess its because they cant be rammed into a corporate mold chopped up and marketed. The industry prefers pushing no talent bums because artists like Buckethead are harder to handle and creative people like him have their own ideas.
@Vinchester8712 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for sharing this. The video and sound quality is really great, better than most concert recordings before 2005 or so! And GOD WHY THEY HAVE TO INTERRUPT SOOTHSAYER!?!?!
