Footage I filmed of Buckethead back in 2004 in San Jose California. I've been the biggest Buckethead fan for many years (since 2000)so it was quite amazing to see him literally play in front of my face.

For those that don't realize what just happened. you've just experienced some of the sounds of the greatest guitarist who ever existed when buckethead comes in contact with a guitar , the darkness steps asside the sun starts shinning , birds start singing. because of buckethead I have a life. there is only buckethead. He's like being in a room with buce lee , chuck noris , jet li and jackie chan all soving you around like a pin ball.

I just keep coming back to this video. I love how he is in a friggin movie rental store playing right in my face. Who the hell else would do this type of appearance? Just adds to his awesome unusualness that I've grown to love. I feel sorry for anyone who can't pick out the feeling and emotion in his playing.

i honestly admire his playfulness in guitar overall, often wonder if he got so far in it cus of that. I’m not a guitar player but I relate to I guess his style in a different form; it really really reminds me of ‘stimming’, like how hyperactive folks sometimes get creativity out by tapping elaborately on everything. How cool is that -- getting to watch him from a few feet away. Awesome vid. Thanks for sharing. The guy is a virtuoso par excellence. I cannot understand is how he can wear that getup for so long. I sweat with just a hat on my head. Not only is the head/face-wear a humidifier, but it's got to be the most suffocating uncomfortable nuisance. He must get sweat in his eyes all the time. Certainly doesn't affect his playing.

Actually, when you think about it. It's because of his sheer love for the guitar that he has become this good. So, it seems that he actually has more heart when it comes to guitar that just about anyone else. He used it as an escape just to be in his own musical world... doesn't get much more heartfelt than that. Also, If you need a soft soulful jam, look up Animal Behavior Outro... most beautiful song IMO. That's Buckethead's heart at it's best. Also, this is just a shred video.
