I am sad to say that my brother-in-law asked me if I had heard of Buckethead, and I replied, whats that something like Jughead and laughed as I walked away ! That was over 35 years ago ! Sadly it was only a year ago that I first heard his music ! I think that blowing off what he ask me was one of the biggest mistakes of my life ! But better late than never ! Rock on Big B !

Here's a short list of who I consider to be in the same group......Darrell Dimebag Abbott, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Slash, Eddie Van Halen ...................I could list at least 40 more that are all on the same level. But none of them........and I mean NO ONE are on the same level as Buckethead. The Master. The G.O.A.T.

One of my worst dreams ever is walking around in a huge park. I keep hearing live buckethead songs like Hog Bitch Stomp, Nothingham Lace etc and I just spend the rest of the dream trying to find the stage Bucket is playing at. It was so horrifying that I never found him and even though it was just a dream, I did get at least to hear him live while searching for him. Bucket's simply a guitar magician, so soulful so virtuosic. And a main inspiration when I play "try to play" guitar. There are only a few to look up to. Bucket's the best. He's got all in the bag. It's like a mixture of all time greats. Satriani Vai matt bellamy too, and a lot of old school pfunk guitarists like. Like the likes of Kidd funcadelic, and channeling the soul of Hendrix and Eddie hazel combined. The virtuosic of the likes of petrucci MAB Satriani and Vai. That groove of frusciante and former funk guitarists he can play country funk he can play ballads metal all you can imagine. My love for Buckethead is stronger than Satriani even, and he's the most likeable guy you'd imagine, all that while he never even shows his face. Then you know the guy is special! Please Bucket join a G3 tour, or/and come to the Netherlands! I can keep dreaming of him performing oversees anytime in the (hopefully near) future!
