Never thought it'd happen. Mike Less admitting that a non-Versatile tractor & grain cart "looks pretty good." Just teasing! Great video Mike! As we saw, the combine drivers have to run obstacle courses.

Mike, you should've went to Conway Springs. That's where the farm that I work for was cutting, along with some ground around Viola and some ground south of Lake Afton.

Some good looking equipment working in that paddock, take a few pennies to buy that lot. Great shots of it all working, liked how they manoeuvred through the gates. Regards from Down Under.

Another great video Mike! The Paplow's are good people, and run an excellent operation! I've been visiting with them every year since 2018, and it's always a pleasure to visit with them! Honored to have them as friends, and they also cut for my friends, in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma! Thank you for sharing Mike, and I look forward to seeing the next video!

Great job again Mike from you,the,operators,and,fine equipment.When you get a chance how about a video on the bread loaf and corn muffin machine in operation.

I can't believe how big the headers are on those machines! My house is 55 feet in length, and those headers look to be about the same size. Incredible skills on the operators part. 👍👍

They’re 45’. I heard him say the heads were fd 145 and 245. The last two numbers are the width. It’s crazy how they keep getting bigger and bigger. 20 years ago we ran a 16’ and it’d take almost all day to harvest 60 acres lol. That’d be a warm up for the machines nowadays

Some of the largest headers in production are up to 60ft now.... Here's a Honeybee. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmXPfp93hrKCh68

Great video Mike. I'm not interested in the amount of bushels, but can you give me an idea how many acres are in this field? It looks like it goes on quite a ways and just from experience I would hate to chase cattle around that field. Thanks for sharing.

It is amazing how high the flagship combines can lift the heads, also what is the red crop on the nearby field? I would think it is too early for milo to be red.
@farmhandmike2 жыл бұрын
There was a field that was worked of red dirt if that's what you were seeing???

Mike, thanks for all of your excellent videos. Have you come across any 60 footer heads. I think that Honeybee are the only mfgs of 60 foot heads in N America-? They say that the wheat ripens an average of 20 miles a day going north.
@farmhandmike2 жыл бұрын
Not yet on the 60 footer
@John-nc4bl2 жыл бұрын
@@farmhandmike Thanks for your fast reply. The Australians are now running a fair number of 60 foot heads, fronts as they call them Midwest manufacturing which is west of Brisbane in Auz manufacture most of their 60 footers and Honeybee from Canada are now shipping some to Auz.

Why do they drive as they want during the harvest instead of moving systematically through the field?
@farmhandmike2 жыл бұрын
There is terraces in the field and they have to follow those contours. They don't show up super good in this video but they are there.
