Talking about this channel being a special thing at 18:45, you're right on the money man, I can def feel it, it's no accident I found this channel clear out of the blue. Quick story to touch on what you said about the world getting better......I live in a small Maine town, the local hardware store is still run by the founder's son......the son is 94 years old, great guy. We were talking about the world the other day and he said the world goes round in a circle, and people that think the world just keeps getting worse are wrong, it goes in circles and he said he can see how much of the circle we've encompassed in his own lifetime and that things are going to start getting a lot better for a lot of people real soon.

Hey!! Got a wee slap on the nose with that first balsam...Actually felt my stomach tingle when it dropped...Haha!! That 394 with the square grind...it's scary!! Got myself a couple of those square ground carbide tooth chains for the old 262...took down some grey alders for a neighbor and that wood's just eating chains...they grow in sandy soil here, and have a tendency to drag sand up the inside as they grow, so the wood itself work as an abrasive on the chain and dulls it very quickly..one tree, one sharpening and so on. The carbide chains held up for the entire day...hard as you know what to sharpen, but man, do they last!! Great job as usual Billy, a true pleasure to watch :) Be kind everybody..

I've only seen a few, landscape planted balsams, and none over ~25 feet tall. They don't grow west of the Rocky Mountains. Grand fir: www.conifers.org/pi/Abies_grandis.php. Only grow in BC, Wa and Or. Pacific Silver as well, but they're not as common, and grow at a bit higher elevation.
