I tell ya what bud. Some things you wanna try just once. I wanted to round with that 070 while just using the tip. Let's just say being a 404/063 built bar, that didn't help my plight! I'm 5'5 175 lbs, that saw and bar was probably at least 50 pounds. I've got lower disc problems in my back, knee and wrist problems, yeah that was a bad decision lol. But hey it was cool to not always be on the ground or bent over while making cuts! Plus the 070 just falls through the wood so you have to hold it up or you will drip it in the dirt! Love that 070, great running saw!

No other way to be Peter.... I tell you what, if you can send us some snow, I'll send ya a chainsaw! We vid what we can but can't always shoot everything. KZbin isn't always friendly to some things we are slowly figuring out. This all started as a diary for our growing kids, hopefully they can refer to this for both knowledge and entertainment too! She sure is, the saw isn't bad either! This was just the first we took for next season. Many more to come though. We don't have enough sized hard woods we would like so we will have to purchase a few logs or maybe acquire some from the national forest. Either way we will get it done this winter!

I have the Neo Tec version of this saw. I have the 36" bar on it. I use it mostly to cut wood slices. I can really only make 6 or 7 cuts per tank. And then I'm done. The saw wears me out pretty good. Mine is pretty hard to start too. Is the compression relief valve easy to replace? I think mine is broken.

As far as I know the valve should be fairly easy to replace. I haven't tried starting it without using the decomp, it is hard enough to pull as it is! With bar and chain and full of fuel and oil it is almost 40 lbs!

Yes it was and I paid for it the next day I assure you. I thought it would be both interesting and incredibly foolish at the same time. It was nice not bending over but sure did make me pay for holding on to that sucker! Thanks for commenting, Ric

Yes sir, my 50+ year old back did the same thing, but more like cracked! That was really a one and done, had the bar and really that particular saw (070) is a lot of fun to run as it works so easy and just cruises through wood like a hot knife through butter! Something to be said about smooth operations! Typically I’ll use the ns872 to buck wood this size but since we were using this saw in a vid I thought why not? Now I know why!!!!😂
