Do you know the fact that most of the jewelry is stolen from India. This is absolutely disgraceful that they are proudly displaying stolen items. Queen should return the jewelry. The Kohinoor diamond which she has in her crown is stolen from India.

@@rajeshramachandran1812 I am from the US; we basically stole land from the Native Americans. I get it - its sad that even happend in our histroy but history isnt pretty. Lots of famine, lots of poor people suffering, wars, corruption, theft you name it. I think doing right would be by making sure India's history is also shared and people are educated about it. Isn't it funny how we place importance on diamonds which are, in reality, extremely common. The only reason they have such value it's because they are withheld by others. If I had my choice I'd rather have colored stones, rubies emeralds Sapphires and such than diamonds.

@leifruckwardt99905 жыл бұрын
...I agree deeply that stones of this size and colour are very rare. Try to understand, that even if you have some nice rough diamonds, you can even dispoil them by giving them a bad diamond cut. The visual beauty you can see and enjoy by watching the sparkle of a diamond is the result of a very good cut and polish. So you have the so called 4 c's which all have to work properly together: The cut, carat, clarity and colour. Those shown pieces have a good cut, definetely high carats, a sensational clarity and color. All these caracteristics make them to a big rarity. Don't forget, many of the shown pieces have been cut and polished in a time without high tech mashines or computers. Rubies, emeralds and sapphires are fine gems as well, but nothing is as durable and at the same time sparkling than a well cut diamond with a high light performance.

Oh my god bitch you're not special, every other fucking comment about diamonds is along the lines of this drivel. THESE DIAMONDS ARE EXCEPTIONALLY LARGE AND RARE AND THEIR VALUE REFLECT THAT! Of course the majority of black and brown gravel looking diamonds aren't valuable in jewelry, no shit!
