Walking The Wyrd

Walking The Wyrd

Күн бұрын

In this video, I take a look at this fascinating 18th Century shipbuilding village where some of the most important Royal Navy ships were built and launched.
Buckler's Hard also served as an operational base to the smugglers of the New Forest who made good use of it's strategic location.
Please consider subscribing if you haven't already, so that you can join me for more historical walks.

The UK and the Netherlands have been maritime countries throughout the centuries, nice to see what ship building was like in the Middle Ages in the UK, again a beautiful and educational walk, thank you Nic for your wisdom. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nice one Nic, interesting little place. I did laugh when you went into the chapel as your voice went lower, everyone always feels the urge to talk quieter in church or chapel, @Alehousehaunts Lorien will enjoy this, I think she loves anything to do with an old seaport or harbour 😂

Thanks so much for watching, Mark! The 'library voice', as I call it, when I go in churches is ridiculous, especially as I was alone in there 🤣 What's that all about? 🤦🏼‍♀️😄
