The problem is once there are multiple candidate moves, the real votes are spread to thin against against the one troll vote that is always there. Giving everyone 1 veto vote might help, to allow everyone to fight against the one troll move while still splitting across multiple candidate moves.

Actually, some keyboards (like laptops) have small grooves on the J and F keys. Remembering the position of the keyboard relative to these keys, generally speaking, isn't too difficult

Twitch provides access to chat for bots. You can use this to track the user comments and determine the most commonly suggested move over a given timeframe.

Eric here are some challenges for you: Give away 2 minor pieces (eg B and N) for nothing in the first 5 moves, then win. Sacrifice your Q for nothing and win. Play the moves a4, h4 and then sac your rooks for nothing and then win. All in the spirit of the genius Lasker.

Another idea (for playing against chat): Allow chat to vote down a move! Like Ke2x means reduce by one the votes for Ke2. Then, hopefully, the trolls can be taken out by downvotes. Each person would be allowed one vote FOR a move and one downvote AGAINST a move.

Does the chat vote allow for a single user to have multiple votes? If each user is limited to place a vote once for each move, I think this might reduce the troll actions.
