I’m from Sweden but I’ve been to Budapest before and this building is stunning in real life, the video doesn’t do it justice at all! Love from Sweden

Thanks! Indeed, it's difficult to capture the many details when you are with a tour group going through the building. Perhaps one day they give us more time to make a more thurough video, but even then it may be hard to do all the small and intricate details justice :)

Hey! A very interesting video, but I wanted to ask because of the Audio guide, can I buy a ticket for an other language (for example French) and ask at the visitor center to give me for example an Audio guide in German, because it doesn’t matter what Audio guide they give to me, right? Or am I wrong? It would be really nice to know it, because the tickets for languages I understand are already sold out, and I would very like to hear the historical facts too. Have a nice day!

Hey there, the tour is led by a tour guide who speaks the languages. This makes it more interactive than a prerecorded audio guide as you can ask questions here and there. If you look in advance you should be able to buy tickets although on the official website there is a limit to how much into the future you can buy tickets. There are also some additional tickets made available each day that can be bought on the spot. It's risky, but there's hope you may get tickets on the day.

Is there a students discount?
@StuffedCabbageAdventures2 жыл бұрын
As per the Jegymester website, yes there is and similarly like regular tickets: For EU Students and Non-EU tickets the prices are different. (Currently EU price is 2100 HUF and 4200 for Non-EU)

At the official ticket website they only offer tickets for (audio)guided tours at a specific date and time. Is it not possible to visit the building without a guide?

Hey there, as the Parliament is an active building where politicians do their thing, they cannot let anyone stroll around without supervision 😊 So only guided tours are available I'm afraid 🙂

Unfortunately tour prices are sky-high for non EU citizens. It now costs 12,000 HUF (over $33). I'll probably still spend the money for the 45-min audio guide tour but I'm doing so grudgingly.

Yeah, that is a very weird price setup, and in all honesty it is a very high price, in my opinion all citizens should pay the same. The Tourguides are very well prepared and share some interesting stories and insight... but I agree, that price is unfortunately too high :(

26 euros is completely absurd as ticket price. Even Schonbrunn in Vienna is cheaper.
