All of those amps are incredible. However, for example, if you only play live once and a while, maybe it's not the best idea to get these amps unless you can crank them at home. Maybe, for guys like me, a bedroom player, a small amp that emulates those cranked amp sounds like for example the Yamaha THR10C maybe is the best way to go. Other option is a small tube amp. For example the blackstar ht 5r is awesome and if you put a dirty klon style pedal in front even better. I recently bought a brunetti singleman 15w and I play in the 1w setting and it's already too loud for bedroom playing if you crank it. However, event at the lowest volume possible it sounds like honey to my hears and the dynamics are great. Almost like playing an accustic guitar. I'm completely blowned away with this amp.

Very enjoyable video. By the way, that’s TWO items of gear your enthusiasm has now influenced me to buy - (1) Hudson Broadcast Dual, which I love, thank you, and (2) I’ve just purchased a Supro Tremo-Verb, arriving tomorrow. It sounds like the perfect addition to my collection. Thanks Budda

I feel better now. I just bought a Vox AC30CCH last week. I was trying to find an excuse for another head. I already have an Vox AC50CPH very modded. And a Marshall 2266 VM. And i dont even have a band. But, the AC30 should have been here since long time go. Couldnt pass it this time, it was a bargain, imported. No more new amps now! Congrats on the 100th episode! Cum carago!

HF1600ie I know people who collect cars, or baseball cards, comic books. Why shouldn’t we collect gear? Congrats on your new amp. And thanks for the support.

Hahaha abraços do Brasil.

Alexandre Boeing e nunca soará como um Supro. Essa é a beleza. Grande abraço de Portugal

As a guitar player we all eventually get that bug!!!!! I have to have that tone.....yup it’s not in a pedal!!! It’s just our disease....( which I love )..........Good vid.

Makes perfect sense - why try to make a Fender sound like a marshal and waste countless hours of eq and other signal processing in the DAW to only go half way in the best case scenario. Same on guitars right? ;) - Great again my friend!

Really inspiring video! You told me in the comments section of another one that you have a shop in Braga. Actually a shop or are all these amps available to try at your studio?
@BuddaGuedes6 жыл бұрын
Ol´ Dave this amps are not for sale. They are in my studio and I use it in my recordings.
@blaseuropa6 жыл бұрын
@@BuddaGuedes yeah sorry, I know, I meant if it is possible to play them and find out which one I like and the order another unit. Or do you have a web for your shop to see what you got there?
@BuddaGuedes6 жыл бұрын
Ol´ Dave hi there. The thing is that a lot of the amps I have nolonger exists. But for the others, like the supros or Mesa boogie Lonestar they are available to test of course. I’m in Portugal though!

@@BuddaGuedes Braga actually, yes! A bit or a ride from where I live but years ago I travelled across Portugal with some friends and it was really nice. Trying some amps would be an extra!

I used to think tone being in the hands was a ridiculous theory, but it's true. Same guitar, same amp, different player will sound completely different. My buddy played into a Bogner Shiva 20th and it sounded somewhat sterile, my BBQ fed fingers played the same guitar/amp and it sounded thick and juicy. the more amps the better, I dig your videos!
@BuddaGuedes6 жыл бұрын
Uberschall JP definitely tone is in the player, but gear is a tool. Like a hammer or a screw driver!!
@wizardsouthJP6 жыл бұрын
Budda Guedes I agree, tonal variety is a good thing, as Is the players dynamics. You’ve got some great amps!
