Buddhism is for all. Buddha used to deliver his speech specifically to 3 categories of audience viz.. to suit their ability to understand what he said. 1. Lay men about basic their duties. 2. Wise people who could understand the benefits of showing benevolence to other people. 3. Lastly those who desired to attain nirvana who joined to become monks.
