Good lookin lure. Nice work on the foil. I do something similar with the rub off but my scales are a little different.

It's only a pleasure and as a fellow angler if I can inspire as I've been inspired by others then I'm a happy fella! Thanks!

Many thanks for the kind words. What I can say is stick to it. I haven't seen your lures and no doubt they're inspirational, but if this tutorial has helped in any way then I've achieved my goal. Thank-you!

What kind of wire is best? and measurements?
@buddsbaits82082 жыл бұрын
I use Tig stainless wire or buy bulk stainless on roll in various thicknesses. Tig wire is good to start as it comes in straight lengths and is easier to manipulate. The little 100 Ripstick has 1.6mm wire and has been tested to 200kg. Once you have wire bending jigs made up you can progress to the rolled wire. I'll be doing a video on simple wire bending jigs in the near future and there some freestyle wire bending in my coming up Conquistador build video. Watch out for that one. Cheers for the support!
