I just feel that Klay just ignored the time when he got injured that Warriors still paid him a total of $68M when he didn't play for 2 years. Warriors still played him right. He wasn't playing well when he was replaced in the starting 5. And Steve talked to him about it before they decided to do that. It's so weird, it's almost like he became the antithesis of everything that made him great early in his career. The team probably wasted 2 years of Curry's late prime unnecessarily by pandering to that dude already, and when they finally move off from him or don't give him everything he desires he throws a tantrum about it. Great video. Fantastic move by the front office. All 3 players move the needle up for this team. Terry stotts could be the underrated move of the off-season. Kerr needs to let Terry have a say in this offense. Simplify the offense entirely and incorporate more Spain pnr and Princeton concepts. The current offense is outdated and needs a refresher.

Getting Lauri doesn’t seem possible without weakening the team as a whole . The future of the Warriors will depend heavily on keeping its talented youth and draft picks . The Warriors next 2 years with Steph will be pivotal but I’d rather take my chances with what they have rather than mortgage the future on one player

People are so caught up on who Klay was, not who his is currently. Just removing Klay and his contract is a huge addition by subtraction and these moves prove that. Now they have taken away what had turned into a cancerous situation and a player that single handedly cost the Warriors multiple games with abysmal play and selfishness. Klay literally tanked a game that Steph went off for 60plus and there were probably 15 easily winnable games if Klay had just not been playing. Thier record without him over the last couple of years since his return shows you all you really need to know. So now they have removed a negative and added multiple players that are all good role players and the Warriors suddenly have a ton of depth.

NO klay had one time he was having some issues where he met and talked it out with kerr. dude just averaged 22pts and led the league in threes season before last and still averaged 18 pts last season in less minutes per game. he might not have had as many big klay moments and some bad games that stuck out but he was still better than 75% of the league. dude was clearly not focused last season bcuz of the contract bs going on. his wind was good and he was running the floor just fine. his defense and shooting picked up the second half of the season. in his 11 season playing, 13 overall as a player hev averaged 20+ ppg for 7 seasons. even when he first came back from his 2 yr off only playing 32 games he averaged 20 ppg. ya'll just kicking him to the curb after ONE subpar klay season. last time he averaged 18 ppg was his third or fourth year in the league. will come out prove all ya'll disloyal fans and haters wrong!

He was pissed bcuz He had a great 22-23 season coming off winning a another chip in 21-22 which he helped them win and they were reluctant to give him three more years. it was more about the time than the money. they offered him 2 yrs 48. he wldve happily taken 3 yrs 60/65 which works out to less per yr for them. his performance last season was clearly bcuz he was mentally frustrated with the organization. had NOTHING to with him physically. He was running the floor just as well as before. don't be fooled by all the media bullshit. klays in better physical condition now than before the injury. He was just getting over that mental hurdle end of last season. he doesn't even wear a knee brace or calf sleeve which would indicate it's weak or he's still having issues with them. I'm look for him to break his three pt record on gsw. maybe hit 16-18 with like 56 pts lmao.
