I met Buddy Jewell a few years back around the time ,Can I help pour out the rain Lacey's song came out . At the Grand Ole Opry , Just got lucky that night and won backstage passes . Buddy was such decent kind down to earth person and not only that his young daughter Lacey was with him . She was very polite . They both stood and talked to me for a few mins and it left me thinking This is what a country sing should be , great voice down to earth all around awesome individual . Also that night I got to meet Jeff Bates who was going over what he was going to sing that night , so I got to hear him practice singing Long Slow Kisses . Was a night I will remember all my life , both these guys was very polite and willing to spend a few minutes with just a regular person . Alison Krauss was also there that night . Oh i almost forgot the best part , Got to sit out on the stage while Buddy sang .
