Now when we go to the mountains with my father for mountain climbing and on the way we listen to country music, he tells us about sweet memories of his old friends to us and our companions. Maybe it is not true to say it, but my father keeps saying that the cowboys turned the real America into the American that we all know. Not the ambitious and opportunists that we see today and they know America as their own. I am almost 46 years old and I fell in love with your music in my youth, I lived and became sad and even happy many times. I apologize for explaining and writing a lot. PS: My father is 75 years old.

Great song. I played bass/guitar and sang lead vocals in the bars for over 20 years. I've looked up to, and been influenced by many artists (Hank Jr, Merle, Toby, Travis, Waylon, Garth, so on and so forth). I say that, to say this.... Craig Morgan is ABSOLUTELY one of the BEST of all time. I think he is one of the most under rated artists out there. Everything he does comes straight from the heart... he's an extraordinary song writer and has one of the greatest voices ever. We have donated monthly for years, it is not much but we know every bit helps and we are so proud, thankful and grateful to be a part of such a special group! We had just lost our only son. Ten years before, we lost our beautiful, funny and so precious youngest daughter. She was only 28 years old and had been a daddy’s girl from the day she was born! You never get over losing your child but with the Lord by your side, you get through it. I will see our daughter and son one day and we will never be separated again. We really did not “lose” our children, we know exactly where they are! Thank you Craig for singing a song, while your heart was in a million pieces. You will never know how many people were deeply touched and how it made them feel not so alone. You two men have come together and brought us a powerful song that proudly represents so many of us!
