@crownvictorialifestyle4421 in 2009 the blocks were cast different. If you put a Cobra crank in an iron block cast previous of 03 you have to clearance the block. That isn't uncommon information.

Deburing the block will reduces points whereas it's likely to cracks throughout the block. I've done this a few times and it takes about an hour, cleaning the block takes even longer and if you think it's clean double check. I've found specs of metal after I thought it was clean.

Aye man I have a question so I just finished rebuilding my 4.6 mustang and besides one lil problem it all went very well and I was hoping you have the time to help me figure out this problem and that is when the vehicle gets to operating temperature it stalls out at idle, so I replaced the IAC VALVE but once I put the new IAC VALVE in now it just stalls out once I start it. I know the vehicle is timed correctly so I don't think that's the issue maybe you might be able to send me in the correct direction

It's not enough weight to matter bro, they deburr on anything so there is less potential for stress cracks.all the little burrs are from the casting it was made in and removed.so grinding them smooth eliminates tiny cracks in the burrs, leading to a far stronger piece .with better structural integrity ! So it is always worth your time...
