What's up with the tape over the front of the sight?

It helps you use both eyes! You can still see the pins with your dominant eye but your non dominant eye needs to be used to look down range. Your brain puts both images together and makes a complete sight picture. It’s an old trick I use in training for rifle/handgun red dots, I’d never seen it used in archery and tried it out…works great!

After your Amazon arrow video I got a couple dzn .204.for the hell of it. After testing and specing them out, they spec right along my GT and victory. Shoot the same out to 100. If I had to guess I'd say they are non labeled shafts. Either way they make a great varmint, prairie dog arrow.

I am just going to go omnia not because it's a flagship but because of the adjustability add tunability that elite offers.

flagdhip when i started were less then 1k your money, now they are way over priced for less basic setup ability, no better in accracy, and most often replaced every year. modern haha. yeah have some dont use then, go out off tune to fast for me, bump need retuning, shim need retuning more often, none off the bows i kept needed shims, so weird. Modern 340plus bows are in reality mid 320s. upto speeds if 80lb, if 31 inch, nothing to do with ibo rated system anymore. pse 356 at ibo is 340. slow compared to moster tested at ibo. pse 29inch, 70lb 286. monster 6 70lb 29inch 302

First, your shooting without getting back into the swing of things probably fits more into the average guy's shooting routine. I shoot the Epicx2 (60lbs) but have never shot a flagship bow from anyone, so I'm probably a bit biased. Honestly, I thought the shooting was about a draw between the two bows. I don't know if I could ever talk myself into the cost of a flagship bow, even if my wife said ok.

The Elite wins as it is going to to be a hard hitting bow for the next 10-15 years. I am trying to get my brother into archery hunting with me but the $ is holding him back so the bear might be able to get him started.

@@joshuadouglasarchery I have a $2000 hunting bow and it’s very similar out to hunting distances . Further you get the finer adjustment on the sight and the heavy target bow with big stabilizers start to play a part in how well it holds . I also have a $600 mission and I couldn’t agree more with this video . I think if two different people bought those bows and one person practiced all the time and had tuned the bow and arrows and the other didn’t the results would show more than the price tag reflects. Anyone that shoots at a public range will see guys who get there bow out a week before hunting season and start shooting and nothings tuned. Then some guy pulls out a 10 year old $600 bow with its 6th set of strings on it and is stacking them out to 100yards.
