Awseome little van !! How were you able to connect the goal zero to the van and where did you get it ?
@TreeandJulia2 жыл бұрын
I had to replace the ring terminals on the kit that came with the goal zero, to get wider ones that I could attach to my car battery. It’s kind of Jerry rigged, I couldn’t attach it perfectly so I just unscrewed the positive and negative connections on my battery, and then just bent the ring terminals in there and reattached it, also I’m running through the cord through my driver window right now. Someday I’ll get it going through my firewall!
@TreeandJulia2 жыл бұрын
I got the van from craigslist, and I ordered the goal zero from goal zero! But just so you know I’m actually waiting for a replacement unit, because this car connection kit isn’t compatible with this version of the yeti, so they’re sending me a yetix. Hopefully that works better because I’ve had a lot of issues with this one

Would you give us the link where to buy that fridge & that Baby AC Thanks
This was awesome to see, as I am trying to do something similar with a 2002 Astro. One thing I did not notice (and have been working on, on my van) is curtains, or 'privacy' features. Also, (and I understand if you don't wish to say anything regarding this) do you have any enhanced security features, such as alarms, camera's, etc. ? Also, does the Yeti drain your battery hard, or do you have two batteries,or I guess I'm just asking how your electrical works? Is it hard on the battery? What happens if you fall asleep with stuff on, and wake up with a dead battery, in the middle of nowhere? Thanks, in advance, for any sharing of knowledge, as it is hard to come by, and your set-up looks absolutely fantastic, and very comfortable. Good luck on your journeys and glad I found (and sub'd, liked, etc) your channel. :)
@TreeandJulia2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! So I ended up ditching the yeti because it was extremely glitchy I now have a $250 jackery that works way better, I charge it off a solar panel that’s fold up when we are stopped. It’s able to run the fridge during the day. We don’t have security features, and I have since added some curtains!! Maybe I’ll post a new video soon with the updates to the van and explain why
