Budget DIY front end lowering by cutting coils on Chevy square body pickup.

The front end of the 1977 Chevy 3+3 square body needs some lowering since we have already lowered the back. Cutting a coil is a quick and budget friendly DIY way to lower the front end. Check the video to see how we did.

Cotter key trick! I use a straight pick, pound it thru the round bit and then use the void with needle nose to grab and twist

Split em at the upper ball joint. Makes life a lot easier. Don't ask me why.

elvis ball joint nuts, before popping them free, clean the threads with the nut then turn it back down for a safety removal
