Thanks a lot, Maro, for one year of rich content. I think, I saw most of your videos and I want to say thank you for your presence. My wish would be a differenciation of the traditional styles and the naturalistic style, you are most of the time achieving to your trees. Keep on growing your trees and conveying content in your fantastic way. Best wishes from Berlin and a great new year for you and your beloved, Markus

Merry Christmas Maros! Nice video for those starting up the hobby. For me, growing from seed was the best thing I ever did. No start-up cost, and a lot less frustration when things died (which they will and still do). I gradually learned which species do well for me - the rest just followed. The horticultural knowledge is great no matter what I do in the future. I especially enjoyed your discussion on handling collected Prunus spinosa. I am using similar pruning techniques with my Prunus species now. Best holiday wishes to you and your family. I look forward to seeing you in 2025!

Dear Sue, thanks for being one of my strongest supporters. I appreciate it. I will work on more collected stuff next year, so content here will probably reflect on it. Greetings Maros

Googling Prunus spinosa I found your channel. I was blown away with your tree and soon started following you here and on istagram. I am total beginer, I have some collected trees, in organic soil for now, but I'm working on understanding better inorganic stuff and this video helped with that. Thank you! This winter I am planning my first Prunus spinosa dig, wish me luck! Here in Serbia we have a lot of it in hedges, so it will not be a problem finding it, but I hope I will get it right and manage to keep it alive :)

I assume my channel is contacting just about the right type of information for your journey. If you miss anything specific, feel free to ask, I can elaborate in any future instances. Greetings to Serbia.

top stuff again! Merry Christmas. More tips on collecting and aftercare of pine for 2025, since you asked 🙂

Regarding pines, I'm thinking about how to do it in a meaningful way. I have some ideas. Stay tuned. Greetings 👍

@@marosbonsai yeah. I struggle to know when to stop my collected pines growing out, and when to prune. Makes sense to let them keep getting bigger so the back-budding (might) appear- but also what if if it doesn't and I just get an even more massive tree? 😃

Merry Christmas and happy new year! Thank you so much for the great videos you made. May I ask you to make a video about timing of doing different jobs in bonsai during the year, how and when you do it. With best regards, Svetlin
@marosbonsai7 күн бұрын
Thanks, Svetlin The timing is slightly overrated, I think. I used to say that windows of opportunities are much wider than we assume. Anyway, I try to pace my topics of the videos just around the type of work, which could be performed on time of publishing. I will try to cover timing in the videos more next year. Greetings 👍 🙏
