I love the idea of the bead board on the island! I would like to do the same to mine. I’ve always thought our island was so plain but this is a great idea. Love the blue paint and I absolutely love the look of the subway tiles! It all looks beautiful!

I love your new kitchen and for about $6500 it is astounding! I am always shocked by how little you pay or buy items when thrifting. I want to do the same thing in my little kitchen soon but the cost of remodeling is much higher in CA. I will paint my cabinets but I need my light area to be finished since I installed new lighting about 5 years ago! Thanks for the continued inspirations! Beautiful job!

Wow it looks great,so fresh and clean. I know we got sticker shock when we had a remodel kitchen company come in and quote us a ridiculous price and our kitchen is not anywhere as big as yours,we ended up just doing new beadboard backsplash ourselves ( me lol) and new quartz countertops,new sink and faucet,for a fresh update.

Awesome! I feel ya! I painted my cabinets years ago and don’t want to do that again. I still get compliments bc I did a stain/wash/antique look. Question, what is your wall color? Looking to change my yellow! Yes, my grandma always said kitchens are supposed to be yellow! Why? It is a separate room but over the yellow!

it looks great. a few years ago my husband and i did the same thing, new painted cabinets counter tops and back splash ourselves. took about a year. it looks great and when it was all done....all i keep thinking is how much i hate my floors and i have a vision for wooden floors...but no money. lol God bless

You know I really love what you did with your kitchen with what you basically had, however, when you did the reveal the floor doesn't match and I think it would be worth your while in the future to change out that floor and I know it's expensive and it's tile but that color is completely off... I actually had that color tile in my house that was built in 2005. Otherwise it looks amazing.
