@@OrganizedtoSave Will do! By the way do you think that as an alternative lightweight curtains could be hung from those posts if there was one post on each corner (4 post total)? Maybe putting a strong string or wire up there for them to hang on?
@OrganizedtoSave
@OrganizedtoSave 5 жыл бұрын
Yes I think if you made sure the post was very stable in the concrete I think it would work as long as it’s light weight fabric. The lights we hung were I believe 3 pounds.

I love the look of your transformed patio! Were the pots heavy with the concrete in them? I’d like to try this and my “patio space” is actually a section of my driveway so I would eventually want to move them. I have adorable patio lights that I’ve never used because I really didn’t have a way to hang them.

Loved the video! I want to use this for my rental townhouse but am concerned about moving it eventually because of the concrete. Do you think I could attack the pole securely to the bottom somehow first, then fill the bucket halfway with rock instead to provide my weight? Or would that not provide enough weight/security?
@OrganizedtoSave
@OrganizedtoSave 4 жыл бұрын
Yes I think that could work. I have seen people use wood planters and they drilled into them to secure the poles. The rocks would allow for drainage as well so you wouldn’t have to drill the holes around the sides like we did.
